After fabrication, during delivery, or while duct sections are stored on site, open ductwork can collect drywall dust, insulation fibers, sawdust, metal particles, paint overspray, moisture marks, and cutting residue. Once this material enters the duct interior, later cleaning, inspection, pressure testing, and startup checks become harder to control.

This open ductwork protection film combines a flexible PE carrier with a water-based acrylic adhesive layer. Film thickness can be selected from 40 um, 50 um, 75 um, or 100 um according to duct size, handling distance, and protection time. The adhesive is designed to grip galvanized steel, stainless steel, painted duct panels, coated metal, and HVAC fixture edges without making removal difficult after temporary use. Medium tack is usually suitable for clean indoor installation. High tack is better for colder sites, transport vibration, rough sheet-metal edges, or longer storage after sample testing.
